Minoxidil maintains hair growth while you use it but doesn't permanently rewrite the genetic causes of thinning. If you stop, the hairs it was keeping in active growth gradually shift back into shedding, and most people return to their pre-treatment density within 3 to 6 months. Plan on consistent daily use to keep the gains.

We don't recommend using VITAFOAM™ during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. While systemic absorption from the scalp is low, animal studies and isolated case reports have raised concerns about fetal exposure, and traces can pass into breast milk. If you're trying to conceive, pregnant, or actively nursing, pause treatment and talk to your OB-GYN about when to resume.
